Seperti terlihat, Xiaomi Redmi 3 didesain dengan specs yang sangat tinggi untuk ukuran di jamannya.

Desain Exterior 
- tampilan menawan dengan strip metallic di sisi-sisinya ala iPhone.
- bagian belakang dengan desain texture kotak-kotak
- Desain tombol : tombol volume dan power ada di sisi kanan. Jika ingin melakukan screenshot must dengan genggaman tangan kiri atau pakai dua tangan. Namun desain satu sisi ini ramah terhadap pemakaian casing lipat karena semua terjangkau di sisi luar bukaan
- lubang headphone ada di atas dan USB / charging ada di bawah
- Indikator LED ada di bawah, di tengah tombol "Google"
- Ukuran layar adalah 5 inch, mengkilat bening. Namun pemakain tambahan screen protektor adalah wajib

penyimpanan dual SIM dengan sistem seperti di photo, untuk mengeluarkan kedua kartu SIM musti ditusuk, juga kartu SIM 2 sharing tempat dengan mini SD Card, sehingga agak repot kalau mau menggunakan external SD card dan punya SIM 2. Sim 1 adalah ukuran mini SIM dan berfungsi sebagai penyedia internet utama

Kamera
- Kamera Xiaomi Redmi 3 adalah feature unggulannya. Dengan kekuatan 13 MP di kamera depan, Xiaomi Redmi 3 menggunakan aplikasi bawaan kamera yang sangat bagus dan enak di pakai. Aplikasi tersebut membuat "tembakan" shutter kamera berlangsung real time, mirip DSLR. Jadi tidak ada delay antara pijitan shutter release dengan tembakan real kamera. Mirip iPhone dan Samsung, dan kita tidak akan lagi kehilangan moment sekian seper detik gara-gara keterlambatan tembakan shutter.
- Feature aplikasi kamera bawaan bisa panorama, face detection, flash. Khusus flash, ini juga real time, jadi tidak ada flash yang terlambat atau tidak sinkron dengan tembakan shutter
- Kondisi auto pencahayaan yang bagus, bisa mode HDR
- Resolusi tertingginya adalah 4160 x 3120 pixel.

Audio
- Kualitas audio speaker Xiaomi Redmi 3 juga sebuah kejutan karena sangat bagus dan merdu didengar. Ada kualitas bass yang bagus, waktu diputar dengan volume max juga tidak terjadi pecah / peak.
- Kualitas audio melalui headphone di atas standard. Xiaomi Redmi 3 jelas adalah stereo, tidak seperti beberapa smartphone china ke KW-an yang ternyata hanya menghasilkan suara mono.
- Aplikasi MUSIC cukup standard, tidak terlalu banyak feature dan basic.

Baterai
- Ketahanan baterai dijamin dengan klaim daya 4100 mAh. Waktu beli baterai diisi sekitar 40 persen dan bisa dipakai hampir 10 jam.
- Kelemahannya adalah waktu charging yang cukup lama, butuh hampir 4 jam untuk full charging.
- Baterai agak panas setelah pemakaian sebentar, jadi sedikit kelemahan di bidang ini.
- Dengan menggunakan baterai yang un-removable, jika terjadi hang maka tekan tombol power selama lebih dari 10 detik untuk bisa re-boot.

Aplikasi
- Xiaomi Redmi 3 tidak membawa aplikasi populer seperti Whatsapp, BlackBerry Messenger, LINE, Yahoo Mail dan lain-lain. Sehingga perlu install manual.
- Aplikasi bawaan Redmi 3 cukup baik. Ada aplikasi Mi Account, FM Radio, Compass , Scanner dan lain-lain
- Theme dasar Redmi 3 membuat screen lock Redmi 3 agak membosankan dan merepotkan dengan harus swipe up untuk membuka screen. Bisa diatur dengan Theme.
- Cukup sulit untuk bisa download theme baru di applikasi Theme, anda harus belajar dan baca-baca lagi di forum miui.

MIUI
- Redmi 3 di Indonesia menggunakan versi 7.1.1.0, hingga hari ditulis review ini versi rom MIUI Redmi 3 sudah ada yang 7.2.x.x.

Lain-lain
- Harga Xiaomi Redmi 3 dimulai dari Rp 1.75 juta hingga 2.1 juta di toko Online hingga pulau Kalimantan
- Paket yang diperoleh di dalam box hanya ada charger dan kabel USB charger. Tidak ada bonus headphone pula.
- Tidak ada bonus screen protector.
- Asesoris casing dan flip lipat Redmi 3 sudah beredar cukup banyak oleh third party

Overall - dengan harga di bawah 2 juta, Xiaomi Redmi 3 adalah pimpinan smartphone di kelas Octa Core, dengan memori 2 GB dan kamera 13 MP. Tidak banyak pesaing yang bersanding dengan Redmi 3. Hampir tidak ada malah. Yang lain-lain ada di level Quad Core (Asus Laser, contohnya).

Unboxing Smartphone V-Gen C1 Diablo Review

Sobat sekalian, berikut saya sharingkan review untuk smartphone Android paling gres bulan April / May 2014. V-Gen akhirnya mengkonfirmasi keturut sertaanya mereka di ajang smartphone Android. Di bulan April 2014, V-Gen me-release beberapa variant Android nya, yaitu V-Gen R01, V-Gen C1, V-Gen R1 dan yang paling top adalah V-Gen S1.

Desain Exterior / Penampilan luar
- Dari segi desain exterior, tampilan V-Gen C1 sangat elegan. Finishnya yang menggunakan hard plastic membuat tampilan luar V-Gen C1 kinclong mengkilat. Terutama jika anda memilih warna putih.
- Desain tombol adalah: sebelah kanan POWER dan sebelah kiri VOLUME. Keuntungan desain ini adalah jika anda ingin melakukan screenshot memungkinkan untuk dilakukan dengan satu tangan saja! Kelemahannya, jika dipasang cover flip, jadi sulit untuk dijangkau.
- Desain lubang-lubang adalah: jack audio di atas, USB charging dan data ada di bawah
- Desain lubang SIM Card cukup compact, ingat SIM card ke - 2 adalah mini SIM. (lihat gambar)
- Juga dilengkapi indikator LED, yang cukup membantu menyala waktu sedang charging atau ada notification

Xiaomi Redmi Note - Octa Core Phablet Murah

Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi just announced their new octa core phablet line up, called Xiaomi Redmi Note. The phone is on almost the same specification to newly announced Lenovo A850+, both on 1.4 GHz Mediatek MT6592M. The main attraction could be its 13 MP camera, in wide angle 28mm, best for scenery or landscape. It's also of course equipped with LED flash and f2.2 aperture to gain more light. It's plan to be released mainland China March, elsewhere is speculated to be May 2014.

Satu lagi keluaran phone + tablet alias phablet octa core. Kali ini adalah Xiaomi, si "Apple from China" yang mengusung phablet baru bernama Xiaomi Redmi Note. Xiaomi yang sekarang disupport mantan personil Google, yaitu Hugo Barra, adalah salah satu pabrik smartphone yang paling menonjol di daratan China. Sayangnya, Xiaomi hingga sekarang belum masuk ke Indonesia secara resmi, namun sudah ada berita bahwa Xiaomi sudah mendaftarkan merek perusahaannya ke Indonesia.

Phablet Xiaomi Redmi Note ini akan mengusung chipset Mediatek MT6592M octa core yang sama seperti yang dipakai Lenovo A850+, yang juga barusan dirilis beritanya pertengahan Maret 2014 ini. Lenovo A850+ Octa Core Handphone Murah

Lenovo just released a new Octa Core Android phone, code name A850+. This is indeed an upgrade from previously A850. Beside the monstrous specifications, the phone main appeal is the front camera of 3 MP. The partial specifications of the phone retrieved as below. This specification is followed closely by Xiaomi Redmi Note.

Pertengahan Maret 2014 ini, Lenovo membuat kejutan dengan merilis handphone Android berkekuatan Octa Core. Handphone ini adalah Lenovo A850+, yang memang merupakan upgrade dari A850 sebelumnya. Lebih seru lagi Lenovo membuat handphone ini berada pada harga terjangkau untuk kelasnya, yaitu diperkirakan masuk ke pasaran sekitar USD 160 atau sekitar Rp. 1.750.000 untuk A850+. BBM Blackberry Messenger for Android Ditunda

Harapan penggemar gadget untuk melihat BBM atau Blackberry Messenger segera bersatu dengan Android musti tertunda. Setelah Blackberry mengumumkan akan merilis BBM versi Android dan iOS di bulan Mei 2013, akhirnya Blackberry benar-benar merealisasi rencana tersebut.

Di tanggal 21 September 2013, Blackberry secara serius mengumumkan bahwa BBM for Android akan launching tanggal 22 September. Sebelumnya pusat Blackberry sudah meminta user-user terpilih sebagai beta-tester untuk aplikasi android BBM  ini. Tetapi file .apk BBM for Android ini leaked , alias bocor ke publik. Jutaan pengguna Android berhasil menginstall BBM for Android, tetapi hanya bisa melihat tampilan keren client nya. Untuk bisa menggunakan BBM for Android sebelum masa rilis resmi, kita harus di-whitelist oleh server pusat, alias menjadi official beta-tester untuk BBM for Android ini.

Namun rencana publik menunggu rilis resmi musti tertunda. Karena hingga Minggu pagi 22 September 2013, server Blackberry masih kepenuhan. Dikarenakan setelah detik-detil peluncuran, Blackberry menyatakan ada sejuta user menyerbu server mereka.

Top 12 Tele Zoom Bridge Camera by 2013

In DSLR Camera world, it could be only two flags we are most familiar with, Canon and Nikon. Alas, in the 'lower' caste of camera-type, we have dozen or more faction playing the Age of Camera Empire game. The class of camera which previously only known by two types, either as point-and-shoot camera or full spec DSLR camera, is now intruded in between by a new category, the Bridge Camera. Not very old term actually, according to Wikipedia, but Bridge Camera is right in the middle of the two type, an almost fully function DSLR camera with all it's manual setting menu, except they just cannot interchange the lens (...some may can..). And the bridge camera is also not the mirrorless DSLR camera.

On this Bridge-class, the main feature is seemingly focus on the ZOOOOOM spec. I just browsed around to pick a decent bridge camera for a friend, but then come up with dozen of fancy names. Panasonic Lumix FZ70 is the top model, by spec he goes from 20 wide to 1200mm tele in 35 mm equivalent. In the most cheap is something on Polaroid IS2132 . By expensive, it is the luxury Leica V-Lux 4, placing Leica under Panasonic Lumix maybe a crime for photographer community, but it is the spec we are talking about. And here come Kodak, also once a big player in the camera world. Kodak PixPro is perhaps the most balance tele zoom bridge camera around, good in price, decent build and design, trust able lens quality and it's the most recent model released in July 2013.

And how about surprise your photography colleagues with a Leica. Only up to 600mm in tele, Leica is the model for serious job. Good physical quality, and good lens! If you have enough money, buy this to help Leica going into the mainstream!

Pentax is now Ricoh Pentax. Very strong name just behind Canon and Nikon in popularity, Pentax X-5 however is very down to beginner bridge camera. They even did not included the Av and Tx (aperture and shutter) priority dial mode. Quality wise you can trust Pentax.

Strangely, Polaroid also existed in camera, if you remember correctly. If you dislike to have the same camera brand to the majority of people, but Polaroid, they are good also.

And Casio Exilim... They are good in electronic and to be honest most of my Casio products last very long. The Exilim provided a beginner bridge camera with good prices, quality is ok for family purposes.

New Canon EOS 70D

Setelah lebih dari tiga tahun berlaga di singgasana DSLR kelas mid-range semi profesional, Canon EOS 60D pun siap digantikan oleh jelmaan dua digitan terbaru, the new Canon EOS 70D. Sistem focus - DUAL PIXEL CMOS AF
Dan fitur paling dibanggakan Canon di EOS 70D adalah autofocus yang lebih canggih, dengan sebutan DUAL PIXEL CMOS AF.

Canon menambah jumlah photodiodes di sensor. Di sistem AF tradisional, autofocus diperoleh dengan memantulkan sinar dari objek ke sensor secondary dan membandingkan dengan sinar yang sampai ke sensor utama. Dengan memperhitungkan selisih pantulan ini camera bisa memperhitungkan jarak focus ke objek. Di Canon Dual Pixel CMOS AF, prosesnya sama, kecuali sekarang tidak lagi dipantulkan ke sensor secondary, tapi langsung diterima di sensor utama yang dilengkapi photodiodes terpisah untuk tujuan autofocus, lalu sensor utama ini juga dipergunakan untuk menangkap/memfoto.

Selain itu EOS 70D mengadopsi sejumlah fitur dari pendahulunya, bahkan dari 'adik' tiga digitan:

New Canon EOS 700D

Satu tahun berlalu dengan kamera DSLR berlayar sentuh pertama di dunia, Canon memperbaharui penampilan EOS 650D dengan EOS 700D. Berbeda dengan perkembangan di kelas tiga digitan, kali ini peningkatan EOS 650 ke 700D sangat minim. Hampir 98% features di 650D dipertahankan di 700D. Pengumuman Canon EOS 700D ini pertama kali tampil di bulan Maret 2013, berbarengan dengan pengumuman kamera DSLR terkecil Canon, EOS 100D.

EOS 700D , atau juga disebut Kiss X7i in Japan and the Rebel T5i in the US, hanya memperbaharui kira-kira tiga hal signifikan dari sodara kembarnya 650D. Yaitu:

- layar sentuh masih tetap sama, ini adalah feature DSLR yang sangat membantu dan standar baru. dengan layar sentuh ini sangat mempercepat preview foto-foto di layar dan terutama membantu zooming ke titik foto tertentu yang sangat cepat, hanya dengan memperbesar bagian tsb.
- 700D menampilkan desain lensa terbaru, yaitu tipe STM (stepping motor) dan untuk pertama kali, bagian depan lensa tidak ikutan memutar

New Canon EOS 100D - Kamera DSLR Terkecil

Canon kembali memperbaharui line up camera DSLR nya. Di bulan Maret 2013, Canon merilis kamera 'tanggung' terbaru nya, yaitu EOS 100D. EOS 100D also known as EOS Rebel SL1 di US dan Kiss X7 di Jepang adalah kamera kelas entry level, yang menurut penjelasan Canon berada antara EOS 1100D dan three digit-an 700D. Kamera ini diumumkan Canon bersamaan dengan EOS 700D.

EOS 100D disebut Canon sebagai kamera DSLR terkecil dan teringan. How to clean up thumbnail in Blackberry, help my Blackberry is Full

For Blackberry users, have you ever wondered why the not-too-smartphone take a storage beyond what visible in your pictures,videos and documents folders? That's because Blackberry do a thumbnail cache to do a fast preview on your pictures and videos, in the pictures and videos folder. A beyond belief flaw is, the system hardly can do reversed in deleting unwanted thumbnail, after the real pictures physically remove by you. This can give a frustration as the thumbnail cache continued to grow in size and finally you start to wonder who the culprit that eaten up your storage.

The thumbnail actually stored in a folder:
Media Card > Blackberry > System > Media

the last two folders are in hidden mode. So in File Manager application ,right click (click the BB button) and click Show Hidden. In the Media folder, just simply deleted whatever end in .dat , for example thumbs116x116.dat , thumbs480x480.dat , and their .key companions.

Blackberry has no real impact when deleting this, but to return it to normal, I recommend a hard reboot, mean pulled out your battery, and then put it back. After this, go to Pictures and let the smarty rebuilt its thumbnail. Voila... your storage just been cleared, and you saved yourself from formatting it.

Pernah mengalami kepenuhan kapasitas di Blackberry? Sudah menghapus banyak photo dan videos tapi tetap saja Blackberry melaporkan kapasitas di BB kita melebihi file yang terlihat oleh kita? Ini karena di Blackberry ada "thumbnail" yang berfungsi mempercepat preview photo-photo kita. Untuk menghapus thumbnail ini masuk ke:

Media Card > Blackberry > System > Media

tapi dua folder terakhir bersifat hidden alias tersembunyi. Di dalam File Manager , tekan tombol BB dan click Show Hidden (atau lihat tersembunyi kira-kira bahasa Indonesianya). Kemudian dalam folder Media, hapus file thumbs116x116.dat , thumbs480x480.dat. Setelah menghapus, cabut baterai dan lakukan boot ulang. Kemudian masuk ke Pictures dan biarkan si BB membangun ulang thumbnail tersebut. Semoga bisa membantu membebaskan memory di BB anda tanpa perlu memformat ulang.
